About us

TRANSLEN INVESTMENT TOURS AND SAFARIS is more than a safari company. We are more than a tour operator or trekking guide service. We’re craftspeople. Our staff is a tightly woven team dedicated to welcoming every client into Tanzania and crafting the most life-changing experiences possible.
Since 2010, Translen has been Tanzania’s good tour operator. With every client we start with a question: what are your needs, your goals, your dreams? We ask this because every client approaches Africa with individual pursuits, and Translen excels at tailoring experiences to meet their specific needs.

We plan and develope our safari product the smart way 🙂

We are experts in the field of creating the perfect packages for Tanzania safaris. We focus on product quality and assurance, giving competitive pricing without compromising on service. The Translen team plans safari itineraries to minimize travel time between parks, ensuring guests see as many animals and beautiful places as possible. We know the geography of Tanzania destinations well, and we guarantee that the logistics of your tour will be the best.

Leonard Mmari the founder and CEO of Translen investment, is the most reliable, creative and experinced tour operator for over 10 years.

We owns more than 20 well maintained Safari Vehicles.

They have everything needed for a great safari – comfortable seats, free WiFi, mobile phone chargers, a refrigerator with cool drinks and a retractable roof. After every Safari, vehicles go through a full inspection and maintenance. Our in-house Mechanics will liaise with our Safari Guides and fix any issues found or noticed immediately, prior the next Safari. A final check is done 24 hours prior a Safari, this is attended by The Safari Guide, The Manager and The Mechanic in charge, safety and quality is never compromised with us.

For over three decades, Translen has taken responsibility for the impact tourism has on Tanzania’s wildlife, mountains, beaches, and communities. From staff cleanup days, partnering with KPAP (Kilimanjaro Porter Assistance Project), and we are committed to progress and sustainability, going beyond what’s expected of us.

Quality service found nowhere else in the industry. Our vehicles, gear, and infrastructure are all maintained in-house, while every guide, driver, and porter is thoroughly reviewed for experience and local expertise.
We know. Planning a trip to Tanzania is a huge decision. The country overflows with world-class activities. In just two weeks you could summit the tallest mountain in Africa (Mt. Kilimanjaro), complete the most famous safari circuit on the planet (Lake Manyara – Tarangire – Serengeti – Ngorongoro) and finish with a few days of relaxation in paradise (Zanzibar). From mountain to Savannah to white-sand beaches, there are a thousand ways to build your own personal Tanzanian adventure. And this is where Translen comes in, to make your preparations, well, cheap.
